Feathr – a leading provider of marketing technology for associations and event organizers – today announced it has raised more than $11 million in a Series B round of funding led by Fulcrum Equity Partners, with participation from several existing investors including Freeman Digital Ventures.
Having the right technology is only half the battle when it comes to growing your association or event. If you don’t use your tools effectively, you miss out on the benefits – but for organizations that are already strapped for time and resources, implementation is often the hardest part.
After doubling in size over the last two years, Feathr has moved into Gainesville’s Nimbus building, 14,000 square-foot office in the city’s growing Innovation District.
Over the past three years, more than 1500 associations and events have used Feathr’s products to do better digital marketing, grow event attendance, and boost overall membership.
And while we’re thrilled with the results we’ve created so far, we know that there is so much more that we can do. In fact, our mission is to make comprehensive event and association marketing effortless.
The days of spray and pray marketing are over. In fact, they have been for years.
The best marketing is relevant, personal, useful, and makes people feel like your brand truly understands them. That sense of understanding creates trust. And people buy from brands they trust.
But actually executing personalized marketing is hard. Not so much the creative part – writing emails, designing ads, etc. – but the data part. If you're going to personalize your marketing you have to know who wants what message.
That's why we built Conversations – a new product that lets your audience tell you exactly what they care about and how they want to be marketed to.
